Opportunities to work with the Trinity River Vision Authority Project
Presented by Shanna Cates,TRVA
The Trinity River Vision is a master plan for 88 miles of the Trinity River and its major tributaries in Fort Worth. More than a decade in the making, the master plan was conceived by volunteers and community leaders, and adopted by city, county and state officials.
The Trinity River Vision Authority has an aggressive diverse business program which strives to provide bid opportunities for all on the Trinity River Vision – Central City project. Close collaboration between the partnering agencies and the TRVA’s Fair Contracting Committee has enabled a proactive approach in preparing vendors for work on this project. For all contracts let by the Trinity River Vision Authority, Tarrant Regional Water District, and City of Fort Worth a 25% diverse business participation goal has been established.
And with an estimated 600 construction jobs per year for the life of the Central City project alone, local businesses will play an enormous part of this history. The Trinity River Vision project partners are committed to keeping project dollars pumping through the local economy, and massive outreach efforts are targeting North Texas vendors to ensure they have the best shot at winning contracts.
Come learn how you can be part of this North Texas history project. Learn about the events and opportunities involved with the TRVA.
