Today we recognize, WBE, Chelsea Derrah for serving 4 active years in the US Army as a Korean Linguist. Chelsea's certified woman and service-disabled-veteran-owned company, DME currently distributes bulk copy paper, medical supplies and equipment, MRO products, and a variety of office technologies to large corporations, state agencies, and the federal government. DME is also a licensed pharmaceutical and medical device wholesaler. DME's primary role as a sales intermediary is to enable businesses in the public and private sector to market their products and services, while also supporting supplier diversity initiatives.

Through certification DME's market reach has extended beyond primary healthcare providers to include law enforcement, EMS and fire departments, military units, and school districts. This partnership has shown tremendous success and is expected to not only grow both businesses but to also facilitate better contract pricing to DME's customers, with stronger distribution support via a robust, national warehousing network.

“During my time in the Army, I graduated from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) and then operated as a Korean linguist that specialized in intercepting, translating, and analyzing mission-critical intelligence.  Since my separation from the Army, I have continued to support the active military and veteran communities, as well as local charities. WBCS has been a significant part of my companies growth and success.”
