Dr. Angel Durr won the WiNGS Entrepreneur Showcase this year with her her idea for DataReady, a nonprofit organization to help grow data literacy and data science knowledge among Dallas/Fort Worth-area K-12 students. She also has a passion to help female entrepreneurs, and is using this platform to host two SHEPreneur Crowdfunding events in which a women business owner will take home a cash prize to help with an immediate business need.
The events will feature a series of 3 minutes pitches from female entrepreneurs, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to the winners chosen by a panel of judges that night.
