As part of the 2019 Toyota Mentorship program, WBEs recently visited the Toyota facility in San Antonio for an up-close look at Toyota's history, manufacturing process, and use of their Just-in-Time supply chain strategy.

The Women's Business Council - Southwest hosted its first event of the year, Woman Entrepreneur's Exchange, in Austin, TX. The new format featured the opportunity for attendees to sit down with knowledgable WBEs for 15-minute speed networking sessions to learn more about WBE certification and each of the mentors' areas of expertise.

We are introducing a new format for Woman Entrepreneur's Exchange which includes WBE-to-WBE speed mentoring sessions, a corporate supplier diversity spotlight, and open networking.
