Congratulations to our 2022 Connections to Contracts award winners! The Corporate Momentum Award is given to a WBCS Corporate Member who has the highest year over year increase in WBE spend. This year, Lockheed Martin was the recipient for achieving an incredible 150% increase from 2020 to 2021! The award was received by Scott Dobbs, Director of Procurement at Lockheed Martin, who is also a recent addition to the WBCS Board of Directs. Hello Members, Community Partners, and Gala Guests, I want to thank you all for making our 2022 Parade of Stars Awards Gala a huge success! As our first major in-person event since February 2020, it was not surprising that over 500 of you were ready to get together in person. This year, we not only had the opportunity to celebrate our awards winners in-person, but to also give back to the Council through several fundraisers.
