One of our WBE members was featured recently in Forbes Woman . Nina Vaca, CEO of Pinnacle Group has leveraged the power of certification to help her grow her business. With revenue exceeding $1 billion, Pinnacle Group sets an example of ingenuity. Importantly, Nina shared advice from the mainstage, which included becoming a certified minority/women-owned business. “Certification has been integral in the growth of Pinnacle,” said Nina. 2016 Power to Potential WBCS’ annual Power to Potential event was held at the Sheraton Dallas on November 8, 2016. The day started with pre-arranged matchmaker meetings, giving WBE members the chance to have one-on-one face time to discuss long-term procurement activities with potential buyers. The room was filled with positive energy and reports of very productive conversations! Following the meetings we gathered for the luncheon and annual meeting. WBCS President, Debbie Hurst welcomed the attendees and reported on WBCS’ 2016 achievements. Most notable from Hurst’s report was the wow-worthy
